Interactive pre-made components are highly customizable, allowing for the addition of effects like film grain or interactive elements like particles. To use them, you simply copy a component and paste it into your Framer project, then customize it further in the property panel.

There are a number of sites that offer intricate components, from free to paid.

  • Framer Supply, made by the Framer team, offers a wide range of free interactive components for Framer, ideal for adding dynamic and animated elements to your sites.
  • Framer Stack is a paid component library within the Framer ecosystem, offering a streamlined approach to building user interfaces.
  • Framer University offers in-depth tutorials on designing with free Framer components and remixes.

Copy Globe Component

  • Go to Framer Supply and find the Globe. Click on Copy.
  • In Framer, select the Background and Paste.
  • Set the Position to Absolute. Constraint Right 0, Width 800, Height 800, Max Width 100%.
  • For the Globe settings, set to Opacity 0.5, Backdrop to Black 0%, Glow #6E7891, Sample 100000.

Copy Particles Component

  • Go to Framer Supply and find the Particles. Click on Copy.
  • In Framer, select the Background and Paste.
  • Set the Position to Absolute. Constraint Center, Width 100%, Height 1000.
  • For the Particles settings, set to Backdrop Black 0%, Size 0.5.

Custom Cursors

Users can now design interactive cursors using components, offering infinite customization possibilities. By utilizing Variants, Effects, and Transitions, users can create interactions with a high level of fidelity. To get started, you can add a custom cursor to their Page and switch its Variants on any layer. They have the option to either "Replace" the default cursor with a Component or "Follow" to add to it.   • Select Particles.
  • Go to Cursor and add a Web Cursor.
  • Choose Move.

  • Select Globe and add a Custom Cursor.
  • Select Component Button to test.
  • Now let's create a new Component. Go to Figma and Copy the Play button and Paste to Framer.
  • Create a Component called Play.
  • In Cursor, change to Component Play and set the Cursor to Follow with Transition Spring.

Spline 3D Embed

Adding interactive 3D objects to your website with Framer and Spline is a straightforward process. First, you export the link from your Spline project and then embed it into your Framer project using the Embed component. This combination of tools simplifies the inclusion of engaging 3D elements on your site.

Adaptive Layout

  • Select Flight UI and set the left constraint to 390.
  • Select the Globe, set width to 100% for Tablet and Phone.
  • Select the Embed, set width to 100% for Tablet and Phone.
