Export URL

URL & Embed image 2

The most impressive feature in Spline is probably how easy it is to export your work. On the top bar, click on export and make sure to select Public URL. It will auto-generate a public URL. This will create a link to your Spline project where you can share to anyone. Copy and paste the link on your browser.

Here’s our example: https://my.spline.design/smarthomecoursetemplate-9214f42bb1704b94132574ea6b9b124c/ If you changed some things in your scene, make sure to update by clicking on the Update button below.

Export dropdown menu

Back to the export properties, the first property is Camera. This option is the selected camera used to view your scene. You can enable or disable the Logo, Background Color and allow scrolling on the page.

Gesture controls

Then, we have the gesture controls. By default, they are set to No because we are using the Isometric camera which has a fixed position. Let’s set them to Yes and change the camera to Personal Camera. Make sure to click on the Update button.

Touch Settings

This is very similar to gesture controls but using your touch controls for touch-devices.

Gesture limits

These properties adds limits to the rotations and translations.

Embed

While other applications like Notion, Webflow, Wordpress, etc. use the Embed code to import your scene. We will use Notion as an example. In export, copy the public URL. Then, in Notion, using the embed element, paste the link and the preview should appear.
